Episode 21: This Month in History - December


December is now upon us and that means it is once again time for This Month in History! The wide assortment of historical events in this week’s episode include several important dates in the Civil Rights movement of the 1950s as well breakthroughs in cardiovascular medicine. As in many other This Month episodes, Richard Nixon and his associates make yet another appearance with more controversial actions.

Episode 18: This Month in History - November


Nolan and Ben are back with another “This Month in History!” As always, the guys take listeners through historical or otherwise interesting events that occurred in November. Highlights from this week’s show include a failed assassination of Hitler, the Gettysburg Address, and the death of Blackbeard the Pirate. 

Episode 17: The Brains and the Bronze


After an unscheduled off week, Nolan and Ben are back with the conclusion to the October Rat Pack Special. This week they cover two of the lesser known yet still influential members, Joey Bishop and Peter Lawford. The guys talk about the personal lives, Rat Pack affiliations, and legacies of these two entertainers.


Episode 16: Mr. Showbusiness


Known as “Mr. Showbusiness,” Sammy Davis Jr. is the topic for the third installment of the October Rat Pack Special. Starting at an early age, Davis was involved with many facets of entertainment. This week Nolan and Ben talk about the struggles and successes of this legendary showman’s life. 

Episode 15: He Did it His Way


The second installment of the October Rat Pack Special is here! This week Ben and Nolan take on the Chairman of the Board, The Sultan of Swoon, Frank Sinatra. The guys talk about his early life and the beginning of his extended solo career. They then move on to Sinatra’s long lasting legacy and involvement with philanthropic work. 

Episode 14: Ain’t That a Kick in the Head


This week’s episode marks the first installment in a month long series over The Rat Pack! Today Nolan and Ben are taking an entire episode to talk about the King of Cool, Dean Martin. In addition to his legendary music, television, and movie careers, the guys dive into Dino’s personal life and beginnings with Jerry Lewis.
